It is very easy to use and has so many unique features. I love that the nap timer is separate so you don't have to reset the alarm to use it. You can also set the duration on the snooze button. Even though the alarms are set a week in advance you just give it a quick tap to preview the following day in case it needs to be changed. It can be turned off completely for individual days or you can use the "all off" setting if you are going away for an extended time. I bought this for my daughter to take to college but I want one too! ......
Didnot keep this clock, wasn't what I wanted... cheap clock with too many knobs for my taste.........
As a retail worker working varying shifts each week, this alarm allows me to program a week out and not have to re-set the alarm every night.
Love the 'nap' feature, and selecting your own snooze time is a plus also.
The only improvement I could recommend is in the setting mechanism, as the rotating dial is slow to set.......
The most innovative features this clock has are being able to set the snooze duration, and pressing the snooze button shows you a "Review" of when the next alarm will be. Otherwise there's nothing particularly refreshing about this clock.
Other Pros:
* Each day has a different alarm
* Nap feature is handy
* Alarm will automatically stop after running for 10 minutes
* It keeps its charge long enough to quickly switch outlets, even without a battery backup
"Innovative" Cons:
* It's comparatively larger than most alarm clocks
* Radio alarm is never heard if the volume is down
* The outer knob is difficult to turn, and takes a good minute or two of rotating to change the time by 12 hours. It is also very easy to accidentally turn the inner knob in the process, messing up another day's setting.
* Not tested, but several reviews say the alarm doesn't go off when running only on the backup battery
* As with every alarm clock on the market, the button to completely turn off the alarm for the day is less than a centimeter away from the snooze button, and even has a more distinguishing tactile feel to it. Do all clock makers assume people are coherent enough upon waking to not accidentally miss the snooze button?......
An excellent alarm clock. Easy to set up and very reliable. Good volume control. The only downside is that it doesn't receive the radio signal very well. ......
